Who can shop with Barkers?
Barkers is a trade-only wholesaler. Our products are available exclusively to qualified hairdressers, beauty therapists, nail technicians and other qualified professionals. You will need to provide proof of your professional status to shop with us.
How do I create an account?
You can register for a trade account online. You'll need to provide your professional credentials and business details. Once verified, you'll have full access to our product range and trade pricing.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?
All prices shown on our website are exclusive of VAT and delivery unless otherwise stated. VAT will be added at checkout.
What delivery options are available?
We offer three delivery methods: Salon Delivery by our own drivers on your scheduled delivery day (free on orders over £25), Courier Delivery via DPD (£4.99), and free Click & Collect from any of our branches. For full details, please see our delivery information page.
What is a delivery day and how do I get one?
A delivery day is your scheduled day for salon deliveries by our own drivers. It's set up by your local branch based on your area's delivery route. If you don't have one, contact your local branch to arrange it — once set up, you'll benefit from free salon delivery on orders over £25.
How do I pay for my order?
We accept card payments (Visa, Mastercard) at checkout. Some customers may also be eligible to pay on account, where the order is added to your trade account balance. You can save cards to your account for quicker checkout next time.
How do I manage my addresses and saved cards?
You can manage your delivery addresses, billing address, and saved cards from your account page. You can set a default delivery address, a statement address, and a billing address for card payments.
How do I return an item?
Items can be returned within 28 days of invoice, unused, in perfect condition and in their original packaging. For full details including exceptions and the process for different customer types, please see our returns policy.
Can I visit a branch in person?
Yes! We have five branches across East England and Essex offering a Cash & Carry service. Visit our branches page for addresses, opening hours and directions.
